Alfie Allen
Alfie is a talented young actor, already being hotly tipped as ‘One to Watch’ after his performance in the acclaimed feature film Atonement. The ‘Oscar tipped’ movie also stars Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, and is an adaptation of the Ian McEwan novel.
Other film credits include The Other Boleyn Girl (Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johannson) and Flashbacks of a Fool which he has just finished filming with Daniel Craig. Craig also believes the young actor has real potential and was recently quoted saying that he thought Hollywood would be calling soon. Both movies are out next year.
His impressive Television credits include Jericho, The Golden Hour and more recently Stephen Poliakoff's drama for the BBC called Joe’s Palace.
In December Alfie will be seen in Casualty 1907, a new three part drama from the BBC. Following the popular Casualty 1906 (December 2006, BBC One) this new series again plunges viewers into the various medical crises in London's East End 100 years ago.
In January 2008 Alfie will take over from Daniel Radcliffe in Peter Shaffer’s EQUUS which will go on a Nationwide Tour starting at The Chichester Festival Theatre.
Alfie is the son of Keith Allen and Film Producer Alison Owen, and brother of Lily Allen. He is 21 and lives in North London.
