Movement byFin Walker
Winner of the Jerwood Award and nominee for Best Choreography at the Critic's Circle National Dance Awards 2003, Fin Walker is an independent choreographer, performer and teacher. She worked with Extemporary Dance Theatre, the Jonathan Burrows Group, Rosemary Butcher Company, Laurie Booth and The Gregory Nash Group, among other British-based companies, before establishing Walker Dance with Ben Park in 1998. (renamed Walker Dance Park Music in 2001). Over 13 years as a professional choreographer, she has made works both on her own and for other companies and individuals in the UK and Europe. Her most recent commissions with Ben Park include Me & You (Phoenix Dance Theatre), the film The Truth, and Man & Woman (both Ricochet Dance Productions), Reflection (Rambert Dance Company) and Shadow and, currently, touring, The Journey (both CandoCo Dance Company).
