




Rachel trained at Middlesex University then went on to complete a directing internship at HB Studios, New York. Her work as an assistant director includes Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Popcorn at the Liverpool Playhouse both directed by Robert Delamere, Art at the Whitehall Theatre and A Slice of Saturday Night at Mountview drama school, both directed by Hannah Chissick, the national tour of Rebecca directed by Patrick Mason, Ducktastic! at the Albery Theatre directed by Kenneth Branagh, the Japanese tour of Blood Brothers, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Comedy of Errors at the Ludlow Festival directed by Glen Walford, Equus at the Gielgud Theatre directed by Thea Sharrock and Kneehigh Theatre’s production of Brief Encounter directed by Emma Rice. Rachel formed her own theatre company, Rested Theatre, in May 2004 for whom she directed How Many Ducks in Stacey at the Union Theatre.
